Have Any Trouble Voting? Share Your Stories, Gripes or Praise with Patch

Post your voting stories in the comments. Patch editors will follow up on any reports of problems.

What was your voting experience today? Long lines or short? Friendly poll workers or surly? Anyone annoying you outside the polling place?

While California isn't known for the kinds of voting issues that sometimes plague swing states like Florida, irregularities do arise: Today in Redwood City, precinct workers reported two men dressed in black were intimidating voters by asking for their IDs, which is not a requirement to vote in California.

We want to hear your voting stories—good, bad or just interesting. Post them in the comments below, or send them to felicia.mello@patch.com. Our Patch editors will follow up on reports of problems.

If you experience problems voting, you can also call the Election Protection Hotline, run by the nonpartisan Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights, at 866-OUR-VOTE.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
