Former Sac Sheriff Debates UC Davis Pepper Spraying

John McGinness debates the recent UC Davis pepper spraying incident.

The pepper spraying incident at UC Davis last week has made news around the nation, and now a former Sacramento County Sheriff has given his two cents in a KCRA debate.

, squared off with attorney Jeff Kravitz on television this week.

McGinness argued that there was no way to know whether the pepper spraying was justified without knowing exactly what led up to the now-infamous incident. Kravitz disagreed, saying it was unnecessary and only designed to intimidate protesters.
