Good morning and welcome to another sunny Tuesday, Rosemont! If you're looking for some ways to get out and enjoy the day, here are some local events to take in:

- If you're willing to travel a bit this weekend, a pool in the Meadowview area is letting dogs take a dip. The 10th City of Sacramento Doggy Dip will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 2450 Meadowview Rd., according to the Sacramento Bee. The Cordova Recreation and Park District holds a similar event at its Lincoln Village Pool, but this year's has already passed.
- Readers in the family, take note: The Rancho Cordova Library Mystery Book Club meets today at 3 p.m. .
- Just 90 minutes later, will hold its weekly ladies Bible study. .
