Nov. 8: County Meeting, Bible Study, More

A look at what's happening in and around Rosemont.

Good morning and welcome to another new Tuesday, Rosemont! Speaking of Tuesdays, . Here's a look at some things happening a little closer to home:

  1. The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors is meeting this morning in its downtown chambers. If you have something to say about county-wide issues or want to become better informed, the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. at 700 H St., and the agenda is available online.
  2. The Bradshaw Road animal shelter is having yet another promotion. .
  3. Today the , located on Jackson Road, will hold its ladies Bible study. .
  4. A statewide program to help unemployed homeowners with their mortgages is expanding its eligibility, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
  5. The massive natural gas explosion that killed a Rancho Cordova homeowner on Christmas Eve 2008 will cost PG&E $38 million, according to the Sacramento Bee.

We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
