(Citrus Heights, CA) – Sunrise
Mall will host “The 99 Reality Theater” four consecutive weekends beginning
Friday, April 25th.  The
production, housed in a 20,000 sq. ft. tent, features 13 rooms each portraying
real-life settings.  Guests will
experience graphic reenactments of situations representing the leading causes
of death in teenagers and young adults.
The goal of the travelling tour is to educate and create awareness of
these mostly avoidable consequences.  It
is the ultimate near death experience.

The 45-minute guided tour
features Hollywood style sets and live actors; there are approximately 200 volunteers
each event night.   The name of the tour represents the average number
(99) of young people who die in the United States each year; 31 young people
will die today from auto related accidents, 16 from domestic violence or
homicide, 12 will commit suicide today, and the remaining will die from poor
choices, diseases and natural causes (CDC Data).

The 99 will be open to the
public on Friday, April 25 and will run for four consecutive weekends- Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (April 25th, 26th, 27th, May
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 16th, 17th, 18th).  Due to the somewhat graphic nature of the
settings, entrance is restricted to those 12 and older.  The cost to attend the event is $5.00 at the
door, and tickets will be distributed throughout the community and are also available
at Sunrise Mall Customer Service.  The
event will be located in the parking lot of Sunrise Mall, 6041 Sunrise Mall,
Citrus Heights, California.  For more
