The kickoff event for the 2014 Sacramento Walk Now for Autism Speaks will take place on Saturday July 19, 2014.
The kickoff is a free informative meeting for those interested in learning about Autism Speaks and participating in its signature fundraising event, Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
All members of the community are invited to attend to learn how they can spread awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and raise much needed funds for Autism Speaks’ research, advocacy and family services programs. Participants can pick up Walk materials, share team building and fundraising ideas and meet with committee members.
This year’s Sacramento Walk Now for Autism Speaks event will take place on September 21, 2014. The regional Walk events bring together hundreds of thousands of individuals with autism, their families, friends and supporters annually across North America.
