APRIL 4 – Irvin Faria – Pauline’s Garden – featured in the Sacramento
Bee

Home & Garden, November 23, 2013

Irv will be making a slideshow presentation about Pauline’s
woodland garden.  The garden story begins
50 years ago when they were looking for a place to build their home.  It is slightly less than two acres covered by
blackberries and oak trees on two slopes divided by a creek.  Through the garden they have attempted to
satisfy their need to stay in touch and exist in harmony with wild nature.  It has been their fortune to have a garden
sanctuary set apart from the everyday world.
It’s their private world that they enjoy sharing with others. The
greatest joy of Pauline’s Garden has been creating a woodland garden paradise
then watching as it grows and the mature garden emerges.
