The Rancho Cordova Historical Society (RCHS) meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month.  Normally the
meetings are held at Rancho Cordova City Hall, American River Room South, 2729 Prospect Park Drive, Rancho Cordova.  In 2013 there are two exceptions:  April 25 and May 23 when the meetings will be held at the Rancho Cordova Library, 9845 Folsom Boulevard.

The mission of the Rancho Cordova Historical Society is:

* to preserve the rich history of the Rancho Cordova area by discovering, collecting and maintaining records and artifacts, and by encouraging preservation;

* to present this history to the public by means of exhibits, archives, creative and educational programming, publications, events, and research; and

* to promote the discovery of history by visitors and residents of the area, and more generally to educate the public about this region's role in the history of California and the United States.
