Weekend Weather: Relief from Heat Wave?

Temperatures will be cooler but still in the 90s.

Good news: triple-digit temperatures won't follow us into the weekend.

But don't call it a cooling trend just yet.  Highs will be in the low- to mid-90s Saturday and Sunday, so make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen if you're headed outdoors and stay hydrated by drinking fluids.

Here is the weekend's forecast according to the National Weather Service:

Saturday: This will be the coolest day of the weekend, with highs around 92 degrees and a slight west southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph.  The overnight low will be around 60 degrees.

Sunday: Things will warm up slightly with a high around 95 degrees and a mild breeze from the southwest at 3 to 5 mph.  The overnight low will be 61 degrees.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
