Week in Review, May 28: Graduating Seniors, Crime, Budget Cuts

A look at the week ending May 28.

It was a week of preparation for Capital Christian High School students, who finally walked across the stage to receive their diplomas Friday. But that wasn't the only thing going on in Rosemont. If you'd like to meet some of the graduating seniors in our area, check out Rosemont Patch's "" series! Here's a look at the other stories you may have missed:

  1. - This Korean tourist attraction may not sound like much, but it plays an important role.
  2. - Check out our photo gallery from the little league's last day of play.
  3. - This Rosemont High School student's hard work was rewarded with a massive scholarship.
  4. - A former counselor at the Rosemont juvenile detention facility got a memorial last week, nearly 47 years after he was killed in the line of duty.
  5. - County budget cuts could create some big impacts at that same Kiefer Boulevard facility.
  6. - This shoplifting attempt was foiled by a Rite Aid loss-prevention officer.
  7. - But no one was around to stop this crime from happening.
  8. - Looking to do a little gardening or outside work this weekend?
  9. - If you need some other suggestions for weekend activities, look no further.
  10. - If you've got some great photos from a graduation ceremony or around town, add them here.
