Shelter Benefit 'Whiskers and Wine' set for Sept. 17
A nonprofit will hold a benefit for the Sacramento County Animal Shelter.
The is about to get classy. Teaching Everyone Animals Matter (TEAM), the shelter's nonprofit arm, will host its second "Whiskers and Wine" fundraiser Sept. 17.
Last year's event attracted 450 people and raised $17,000, according to a press release.
The event, held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., will feature a buffet dinner, wine tasting and music from sponsor 101.9 The Wolf. A raffle and silent auction will also be part of the night's festivities.
