If talks between two Sacramento supermarkets and the United Food and Commercial Workers union fail, employees could walk off the job.
Raley's employees have already authorized a strike, although they have yet to formally leave their jobs. Meanwhile Save Mart Supermarkets said it has given workers its final offer, meaning the union can either take it or go on strike.
And that means Rosemont residents would either have to cross picket lines or shop elsewhere.
If workers at either supermarket chain—or potentially both—decide to strike, where would you buy groceries? Would you try to stay local and shop at Food Source or Fresh and Easy? Or would you shop elsewhere in the Sacramento area?
