Where is Rosemont's Best Dessert? Vote Here

Tell us where your sweet tooth takes you in Rosemont.

Sometimes you just need sugar.

Whether it's chocolate, ice cream, pastries or something even sweeter, there are several places to get dessert in Rosemont. For this week's Readers' Choice poll, we want to know your go-to sweet treat in the area.

Is it a slice of pie at Perko's? Pan dulce at La Popular Supermarket? What about an ice cream cone at Baskin-Robbins?

Vote in our poll below and write a review on the Patch Places page of the business you think serves up the best sweets. The winner of the contest might not be the business that receives the most votes in the poll, since reviews, ratings and comments count too. Reviews and ratings will be especially important this week, since Perko's Cafe has a few from (note: The reviews and ratings feature has been available on Rosemont Patch since the site launched in 2010).

Click on a business below to go to its Patch Places page to write a short review or serve up a quick rating–and be sure to let us know if we missed one:

Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday, so be sure to tell your friends on Facebook and Twitter to get involved!

(This poll is not scientific, and it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined based on poll results, comments on this page and on ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Hint: The ratings and reviews will help break a tie.)

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
