Readers' Choice: Who Do You Trust to Fix Your Car?

Which Rosemont auto repair shop has the best service in town? Let us know by voting in our poll and leaving a review on your favorite businesses' listings on Patch.

Welcome back to Readers' Choice, our weekly feature that gives Rosemont residents a chance to tell us (and each other) what they think of local businesses and which ones are their favorites.

Over the past five weeks, we've polled readers on their favorite special-occasion restaurant, preschools, favorite birthday locations, favorite St. Patrick's Day spots and desserts.

This week, we want to know who you trust to fix your car. Whether it's an oil change, new tires or a full engine tune-up, sometimes we all need to make a pit stop.

We want to know which Rosemont-area auto shops you swear by.

Votes, comments and directory reviews and ratings all count. Polls close at 9 a.m. Friday.

In no particular order, here are the nominees:

(This poll is not scientific, and it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined based on poll results, comments on this page and on ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Hint: The ratings and reviews count extra, and will help break a tie.)

Just for the sake of honesty and disclosure, Ozmotive replaced a clutch in the Acura I owned a couple years ago. It was a pretty big job, so I thought I should mention it.

I don't take my car to anyone in the neighborhood. I bought it from a dealer that I like and take it there for all needed service. My classic car, I take to Midas for muffler and pipe work when it goes out, but everything else I do myself.

I've taken my cars/trucks to Sherrals twice and I must say both times my car left in worse condtiion than it came in. One time i took it for a simple oil change and by the time i got it back i had problems that were not pre existing! the people were rude prices werent anything particualrly good and they did not offer to even fix or diagnose waht the new problems were or give me any sort of valid explanation.
