Poll: Best St. Patrick's Day Meal in Rosemont?

Vote here and leave a review to decide this week's "Best Of" winner in Rosemont.

Green beer, sneaky leprechauns and four-leaf clovers — What's not to love about St. Patrick's Day?

In our latest Reader's Choice poll, we're asking readers where they like to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Rosemont. We've put together a list of local businesses doing something special for the holiday.

Now it's your turn: Tell us which of the locations below you like the best and why by rating and reviewing the location in our Patch Places business directory. Click on the business' name below to post a review and vote in our poll below. Don't forget, it's not just about the number of votes in the poll — reviews count extra in the tallying.

We'll post the winner on Friday, based on your responses.

Now, without further ado, the nominees:

  • - Rosemont's only bar will serve a free St. Patrick's Day meal of corned beef and cabbage starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
  • - The Micron Avenue eatery will serve corned beef and cabbage (with potatoes, and a soup or salad) on Saturday.
  • - This Kiefer Boulevard lunchtime favorite will serve corned beef and cabbage (with potatoes and carrots, of course) for lunch and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., and dinner will be from 3:30 to 5. Lunch will be $7.95 and dinner will be $8.95, and reservations are recommended (the restaurant can be reached at 916-361-9216).

Vote in our poll below, leave a comment or click on the place name above to leave a review. Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday.

(This poll is not scientific, and it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined based on poll results, comments on this page and on ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Hint: The ratings and reviews count extra, and will help break a tie.)

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
