King's Skate Country Says Farewell

King's Skate Country says a bittersweet farewell, nearly 40 years after its opening on Bradshaw Road.

This weekend, local landmark King's Skate Country closed its doors. The roller skating rink on Bradshaw Road is because of slow business and so co-owner Dan King can retire. Friday and Saturday night brought huge crowds to the business for one last skate.
