Is There Too Much Hype Around the iPhone 5?

It seems that Apple frenzy has seized the county, but are you part of it?

Lines have already begun wrapping around Apple stores, technology news outlets and blogs have been buzzing for months over its release, and Apple (AAPL) stock shares soared to over $700 per share, according to TechCrunch.

But is there too much hype around the new iPhone 5?

Sure, the phone can give you precise directions to anywhere in the United States, provide immediate access to email, text and call your friends and family and open a world of 700,000 apps, but isn’t it just a phone?

Or, for many of the Apple fanboys and fangirls out there, it’s the one tool that fits in your pocket while organizing your entire life.

The sleek smart phone boasts many new features including a 4-inch screen, 20 percent lighter and many more features not available on the iPhone 4s, the most current iPhone model.

Even we at Patch have had extensive coverage of the new iPhone 5.
