A winter homeless shelter program that will return to has found all of the funding it needs, thanks to a recent $75,000 donation from Wells Fargo.
According to the Sacramento Bee and a press release, the bank's foundation will provide needed money to keep the Winter Sanctuary shelters running this winter.
The shelters rotate between various churches, and provide places for single, homeless men and women to spend the night.
Wells Fargo officials told the Sacramento Bee they learned about the funding shortfall facing organizers Sacramento Steps Forward and Volunteers of America through media coverage, and decided to step in.
Capital Christian Center Pastor Rick Cole was scheduled to participate in a press conference this morning announcing the donation.
