'America's Got Talent' Finals Wednesday: David Garibaldi and His CMYKs to Perform

The Sacramento-area resident and his crew are one of six groups performing at 9 p.m. Wednesday on NBC (KCRA-3 locally).

A Sacramento-area resident is one performance away from a share of a million dollars.

, a performance painting group, is in the final round of "America's Got Talent," which airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday on KCRA-3. They're competing with five other groups for the top prize of $1 million and a Las Vegas show.

Garibaldi lives in Elk Grove and attended , where an animation teacher convinced him to switch from graffiti to a more law-abiding art form.

"I told him, 'You will pay for doing that, or you can stop doing the illegal stuff and get paid to do it,' " Shawn Sullivan told the Sacramento Bee earlier this month.

held viewing parties at its locations around the region for Garibaldi's semi-final performance, but won't be doing the same this week.

While Garibaldi has received massive amounts of support on social media and from Sacramento-area residents and businesses, he isn't everyone's first pick to win it all. Judge Howard Stern said on his radio show that he thinks stand-up comic Tom Cotter will win the championship, according to Reality TV Magazine. Previously, Stern said he thought massive harpist William Close would be the ultimate winner.
