Dixon: Dixon resident, 100-year-old Earl Hastings, was honored this week by the Solano County Board of Supervisors and the Senior Coalition of Solano County as one of 22 people in Solano County over age 100. 

Carmichael: 50-year Carmichael business owner Nick Pantis has seen ebbs and flows in his business, but a series of unfortunate events proved more than he could bear for his fledgling new restaurant.

Rosemont: Golden Empire Elementary School teacher Renee Mondzak won OfficeMax's national "A Day Made Better" program.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
