Weekend Planner: Perko's Golf Tournament, Capital Christian Center Car Show, More

Here's what's happening in and around Rosemont this weekend.

As usual, Rosemont Patch is pleased to inform you about the latest and greatest recreational suggestions:  Put on your favorite business suit and meet some members of the community at the Rancho Cordova Luncheon—food, networking opportunities and more await. If you love the great outdoors, grab your golf clubs and make it a day on the green at a charitable golf tournament put on by Perko's.  Prefer a more artistic pursuit?  Try your hand at painting a tile at White Rock Park and let your brush run wild painting flowers, trees, animals and whatever else your imagination dictates.

Of course, we haven't forgotten about Dear Old Dad.  Get a head start on celebrating this Saturday with an outing to Capital Christian Center for all the cool cars and motorcycles he could ever want in one setting.  Continue the festivities on Sunday by taking him out to breakfast at Ernesto's Mexican Food, where he'll enjoy meat or vegetarian fare with a bottle or two of Dos Equis—porque no?  You'll be the one driving!  It's worth the brief trip outside the Patch—Happy Father's Day!
