Sept. 16: Eventful Day at Rosemont High, Business Luncheon, More

The weekend is finally here! OK, so maybe “finally” is the wrong word to use—especially if the work week has flown right past you! Either way, it’s time to take a breather and relax for your weekend. Looking for something to do as you relax? There’s a couple of things going on for RHS students, including a visit by college reps and a dance. For fans of the school, you can check out a home football game tonight. Or if your more of a Capital Christian family, their football team will also be playing tonight! For all you business-minded folks, check out the monthly luncheon help by the Rancho Cordova Chamber.

1. There’s a lot going on at today! You can catch your Wolverines as the football team hosts Laguna Creek High tonight. The junior varsity game starts at 5 p.m., followed by varsity at 7:15 p.m.
2. RHS students are invited to stick around after the game for the first ASB dance of the school year. The dance begins at 9 p.m., but don’t forget to talk to your ASB rep to get all the details, including ticket prices.
3. Finally, seniors at Rosemont High will get a chance to learn a bit more about St. John’s University in Queens, N.Y. College reps will be on hand to give a counseling session to all interested seniors at 8:30 a.m.
4. The Cougars will also be on their home turf for a game tonight! Check out ’s boys varsity football team as it faces off against River Valley High at 7:30 p.m.
5. Join the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce today for their month business lunch. Nonmembers and members are all welcome to attend to dine and network from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch costs $12 for members, $20 for nonmembers.
