Revitalizing Rosemont Volunteer Meeting Monday Night

The Rosemont Community Foundation and the will tonight hold a volunteer orientation for people interested in spreading the word about a to increase the sense of community in the area.

Volunteers interested in going door-to-door distributing information about "" are asked to meet at 7:30 tonight at .

The project was previously known as "Rosemont Revitalized," and will use a $5,000 grant from State Farm Insurance to promote safety, businesses and a sense of community.

Volunteers will be distributing 8,000 packets with information on the project and the groups behind it, as well as coupons for , , Andre's Tree Service and others. Residents of the are helping to assemble the packets.
