May 26: Middle School Graduation, Never Never Land, More

I think we all might be jealous of the Rosemont High School seniors today as they head to Disneyland for their class trip. Shake those Mickey Mouse hopes out of your head by getting out and enjoying a night of vacation right here in Rosemont! Congratulate your Capital Christian eighth grade student as he or she celebrates the end of middle school today, enjoy a classic play at Rosemont High, go out on the town for dinner, let your toddler enjoy the morning with story time or head to the Serna Center for a PTA awards ceremony.

1. Congratulations to the graduating eighth grade class at ! Students will be graduating tonight in ’s Sanctuary. The class will take their first steps toward high school at 7 p.m.
2. It’s your last chance to visit Never Never Land at . The school’s Creative and Performing Arts academy will present the classic play “Peter Pan” today. Directed by Ruth C. Sosa and performed by high school and elementary school students in the Rosemont community, the performance is sure to bring you back to childhood! 3. Help the Rosemont High School Travel Club while taking the family out for dinner! Each time you and your family eat at , the restaurant will donate a percentage of your bill to the school! All you have to do is mention when you dine and you can help the Travel Club raise money for future trips.
4. Take your 3 to 5-year-old toddler to the Arcade Library today from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for preschool story time. Children will be treated to stories, songs and more, and each week will have a different theme.
5. The Sacramento Council of PTAs will honor those who have played an active role in helping students and schools throughout the district tonight.
