Find out what's happening in and around Rosemont today.

Along with our usual Tuesday activities—the ladies Bible study group meeting and open mic night—there’s a chance for you to help Rosemont High’s Travel Club raise some money, a murder mystery book club and, for the teens out there, a fun and creative way to get some ink (henna ink, that is).

  1. Help the Rosemont High School Travel Club while taking the family out for dinner! Each time you and your family eat at , the restaurant will donate a percentage of your bill to the school! All you have to do is mention when you dine and you can help the Travel Club raise money for future trips.
  2. Ladies, if you’re looking an afternoon of religious study and companionship, look no further than . The church holds a Ladies Bible Study every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and all women are welcome to attend.
  3. will hold an open mic night tonight. If you have a band that would like to play, or if you just want to see some new music live, go check out the pizza place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The open mic night is held every Tuesday night.
  4. Do you love mysteries? Join the Mystery Lovers Book Club at the Rancho Cordova library. The club meets every third Tuesday of the month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to discuss the latest whodunit. Today’s discussion will be about “Mistress of Death” by Ariana Franklin.
  5. Get your teen a tattoo (no, not a real one)! The Arden-Dimick Library invites teens to adorn their hands and feet with henna tattoos today from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. All supplies will be provided.
