It’s a beautiful Tuesday in Rosemont! Why spend an entire day cooped up inside? Today, you can take in a baseball game, study the Bible with like-minded women (sorry, guys!), check out some new talent at an open mic night, clean out your garage for a rummage sale or listen to the beautiful sounds of a symphony orchestra.
- ’s boys baseball team will take on McClatchy High School today in a post-season match-up. The home game will start at noon, so you can take a long lunch break and take in a game!
- Ladies, if you’re looking an afternoon of religious study and companionship, look no further than . The church holds a Ladies Bible Study every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and all women are welcome to attend.
- will hold an open mic night tonight. If you have a band that would like to play, or if you just want to see some new music live, go check out the pizza place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The open mic night is held every Tuesday night.
- Need to clear all the clutter out of your garage? Get some extra cash while you do it! is renting out spaces for its first . Spaces are $10 per 10x15 area, or $20 for double the real estate. All fees will help raise money for the school, so if you’ve been thinking about having a garage sale yourself, or if you have crafts to sell, rent a space, help Sequoia Elementary raise some money and get some extra cash for yourself! The sale will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 4.
- Get a little culture in your life tonight with Sacramento State’s Symphony Orchestra. Led by Leo Eylar, the orchestra will perform tonight at 8. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for seniors and students. For ticket and parking information, click here.
