Find out what's happening in and around Rosemont today.

Are you ready for some spring weather (finally!)? Things are supposed to calm down this week, starting today. Make the most of your beautiful Monday with some high school sports, fitness training or by adopting a new furry friend. If you’d rather stay inside while things dry out, you can catch up with last week’s news while you wait.

  1. Some teams will hit the road today—but don’t worry, they’ll stay pretty close to home, so you can still check them out! The boys golf team will play at John F. Kennedy High School today at 1 p.m. The girls softball team will also be on the road today, playing against Christian Brothers High School at 3:45 p.m.
  2. If you’d rather stay closer to home, has you covered! The varsity swim team will be competing against Bradshaw Christian High at 3 p.m., and the boys volleyball team takes on Vista Del Lago at 6 p.m. Both games are at home, so remember to support those Cougars!
  3. Need help getting into shape? Visit today at 5 a.m. for core, nutrition and fitness training with certified trainers to help you lose weight, tone up and maybe even train for your first marathon. Best of all, it’s free, so get out there and get fit!
