Feb. 25: Jazz Combos, Weekend Planner, More

Find out what's happening in and around Rosemont today.

It’s going to be a chilly Friday today, so make sure you bundle up when you head out! Today, you can get caught up on your high school sports, check out some live music, plan your weekend with or without the kids and see some live jazz combos.

  1. Congratulations to the girls and boys basketball teams! Both teams made it to the second round of playoffs! Although the girls lost Thursday against Calaveras High School, the boys still have a chance to take on Summerville High School Monday night. Go Cougars!
  2. Looking to start the weekend with a little music? will host bands and singers alike for live music tonight from 6 to 8. Come out to enjoy some music with your dinner.

Starting at 4 p.m., the university’s music department will hold a concert of jazz standards and original works performed by student jazz combos.
