Does the Good Outweigh the Bad? Rosemont Weighs in

Read comments from last month's annual Rosemont Community Association meeting.

At the , attendees were asked to give their thoughts on the pros and cons of Rosemont.

They filled out anonymous cards about what they liked and what they wished could be improved, and they were collected by volunteers. The comments have now been posted on the community association's website, and can be read here.

There are slightly more positive comments than negative. Here are a few of the comments posted on the association's website:

Things I like about my Rosemont …

The diversity of the community is wonderful

It's home! Residents & homeowners – don’t give up!

Safety – I feel safe walking the streets in the day time

I love Rosemont – born and raise here since the 70’s, and I’m raising my kids here now

Things needed to enhance Rosemont …

Develop Rosemont identity

In the Plaza get the empty spaces occupied! Love the stores there. Let’s get Rosemont Plaza rockin’

Need more police presence when school lets out; witnessed numerous drug deals near where kids are playing

Need better place in Rosemont to spend money
