The RCHS preserves the rich history of the Rancho Cordova
area by discovering, collecting and maintaining records and artifacts, and by encouraging preservation; presenting local history by means of exhibits, archives, publications, events, and research; and promoting the discovery of history by visitors and residents of Rancho Cordova, and more generally
educating the public on Rancho Cordova's role in the history of California.
