Superheros Featured at Free Drive-In Night

Thursday night entertainment to include 'Brave,' 'The Dark Knight Rises,' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man.'

A slew of superhero flicks will play Thursday during free movie night at the drive-in.

With gates opening at 6 p.m. and movies set to start at 8 p.m., the West Wind 6 Sacramento Drive-In will show "Brave," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Amazing Spider-man."

In "Brave," a princess who is determined to pave her own path, defies a custom that brings chaos to the kingdom, according to IMDB.com. When granted one wish, she must rely on her bravery and archery skills to undo a curse.

"The Dark Knight Rises" stars Christian Bale and is directed by Christopher Nolan. Batman, who has been branded an enemy, resurfaces to protect the city after a new terrorist leader overwhelms Gotham's finest, according to IMDB.

In "The Amazing Spider-Man," Peter Parker finds a clue that leads may help him understand his parents' disappearance, which puts him on a path toward Dr. Curt Conners, his father's former partner, according to IMDB.
