I wanted to thank you for posting Blossom. I volunteer for Chako Pit Bull Rescue and walk and work with Blossom at the shelter. This dog has stolen my heart, and I am hoping someone will fall in love with her just as I have. She is one of the sweetest, most well-behaved dogs I have ever met and anyone that adopts her will be lucky to have her.

Thanks for the comment, Julie. Hopefully someone will come along who feels the same way about Blossom as you do.

Can you tell me more about the work you do with Blossom and other dogs at the shelter?

I work with Blossom every Sunday when I volunteer for Chako Pit Bull Rescue. I walk her (she is fantastic on the leash), work on her commands (ex: “sit”, “stay”, “down”) and give her plenty of love. She has captured my heart and I think about her constantly after I leave the shelter and pray that she gets the home she deserves. So, thank you so much for doing your part in finding this precious girl a forever home.

Chako Pit Bull Rescue has a wonderful CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Program that works with shelter Pit Bulls on their commands and people skills which makes them more adoptable. The volunteering I do for Chako is extremely rewarding, especially when a dog that has had a rough start in life gets a second chance. I love these dogs like they are my own and am proud to say that I volunteer for a rescue that has done so much for this breed.
