Liquor Store and Chevron Robbed Last Week

Two local stores were targeted in late January, according to authorities.

Two stores in the Rosemont area were robbed by armed suspects within a couple days of each other, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime report.

M and M Liquor on Folsom Boulevard was targeted on Jan. 26, while the Chevron on Bradshaw Road was robbed on Saturday, the crime log states.

In the Folsom Boulevard liquor store case, three young suspects entered the store around 3:30 p.m. and grabbed "miscellaneous merchandise" while a fourth asked the clerk for two bottles of liquor, the department states.

When the clerk set the alcohol on the counter, the fourth suspect told him he had a gun, and the four suspects fled, according to the crime log.

They're described as two 21 or 22-year-old black males standing 5-foot-8, one 16 to 18-year-old black female standing 5-foot-5, and one 23-year-old black female standing 5-foot-4.

The Bradshaw Road Chevron was targeted around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, according to the crime log. A single suspect entered the store and ordered the clerk to the ground at gunpoint, the department states.

He took money and merchandise before fleeing "in an unknown direction," according to the crime report.

The suspect is described as a bald, black male between 20 and 30 years old, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 200 pounds.
